Visited for lunch last Saturday and the staff were friendly and helpful with a great atmosphere with them and (I’m guessing) the locals. Fish and chips best I can remember having - perfect.
Lovely friendly staff.Full English breakfast. The bed was comfy had a good night's sleep and the shower was that good I didn't want to get out.Very clean and a bonus of tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Very clean room, and great location. Mel made us feel very welcome and made a delicious breakfast.
I stopped here randomly for a night whilst travelling and got lucky finding this place. The food was great, I'd recommend the dragon burger, although, everything I saw the waiters delivering looked good! The rooms were perfect too, peaceful sleep and a comfortable bed. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful. Thank you Rob and Hannah for a great stay!
Had a fantastic stay over in this lovely pub. Staff were very welcoming & so friendly. Food was great, had an evening meal & breakfast in the morning. Rooms were clean & comfortable & had the best night sleep. Would definitely book again x
I’ve given five stars across the board because of the warm welcome and friendliness of the staff. We had to break our journey, found ourselves nearby and dropped in on the off chance they had a room. The room was good value, clean and comfortable, and the en suite warm and with nice towels. It was also surprising peaceful given the proximity of the pub! Thanks again for your hospitality.
We stayed here in December and had a really nice stay, the rooms are very nice with plenty of space, tea coffee making facilities etc, the bathroom was also very nice with a fab shower with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The food and drink in the pub was great and the breakfast the next day was also very nice, very friendly staff.
